This is getting embarrassing and frustrating.
This is a normal for Plex Android every time thereās a time change. Right around 2 a.m. it should start working, depending on your time zone. But Iām not up at that time, I just wake up the next morning and it works again.
Considering this as ānormalā is brutal. Fix this already.
I was hoping not to re-subscribe to my hd homerun dvr service in a couple weeks. Unfortunately, plex and live tv/dvr do not work together. Iāve tried it on and off for a couple of years and was hoping it would be there by now. Itās definitely not. HD Homerun has worked well for me for 4 years.

Thereās been a new Beta updated which supersedes the version in this thread. However, on a Shield Pro, playing any Live TV for around 20 seconds (maybe less) crashes the whole app. Happens on any channel. @sixones something youāre aware of?

Same here. The BETA just released completely crashes Plex out to the Amazon Fire Stick main menu when playing Live TV/DVR.

A new beta will be deployed shortly that includes a fix for the crash when playing Live TV.

Anyone else unable to play some 4k content with the beta release? Was able to on the previous versions. Now FireTV times out with a error āAn error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.ā.
I am not seeing any network traffic indicating it is even attempting to start the direct stream. Tried a firetv via wifi and hardwired. Same result with both.
Settings are all at play original file. Tried a few 4k copies I know have worked in the past.

Same issue as OP, my recorded TV has the same issue of looping if I was trying to watch Live TV while it was being recorded. I see there was a beta fix for it but itās now superseded and not working again.

No problem. Thanks for updating. The issue with changing the audio channel on Live TV and DVR is still present where it crashes the whole client. I believe Logs have been given for this already.
Just realised the āwatch from beginningā issue is still present on the latest beta where it will just keep looping.
