Fire TV Client Playing Photo Library Videos in Wrong Orientation - Plex Media Server - Plex Forum
I play many videos that were taken by various personal devices, Nexus 6P, Canon point & shot, Iphone etc. and they play properly when playing the directly from network (media player, VLC etc) as well as when using plex web app from any PC. But playing them from the Fire TV, Samsung TV or Android results in portrait videos being played sideways (rotated left 90 degrees). It’s a regular 1080P. MP4 video.
Here on my pixel 6 pro with Auto-Rotate off which results in correct orientation
Again on my pixel 6 pro but with Auto-Rotate on which results in wrong orientation

Any ideas? I have tried direct play (no transcoding) and transcoding. Didn’t have an effect. Main goal is to get Fire TV working.
