Have three firesticks. two are 2nd generation firesticks and 1 is a firestick 4K and i use them all to play live TV using a HD Homerun prime unit. The two 2nd generation firesticks play fine and all channels play direct play audio and video. The 4K firestick only plays some channels direct play but most of them are transcoded. The transcoding is an issue for me as it causes the live TV stream to “stutter” on occasion. Is there any way to get the 4K firestick to direct play for all channels?
