First TV channel not visible

Channel number/Name: channel 1 BBC1 NorthWest

I cannot view the first channel (BBC1 Northwest) on Firefox browser (running on Windows 10 64-bit); have tried re-scanning channels and re-loading EPG. Note that the HDHomeRun iPhone app can see this channel perfectly, while the PLEX iPhone app loads the video but not the audio stream - has to be manually connected to English (MP2) everytime for this channel.

Any help in resolving this would be appreciated.

I also have the same problem with audio track not playing for the first channel (BBC 1). Not selecting correct audio track?

I am using the latest version of Synology Plex media server and Mac Plex player v1.20.1.3213. Freeview on HDHomeRun Duo.

Update: the Windows PLEX app loads channel 1 perfectly, and today the iphone app is able to play the audio stream for this channel. Still an issue for viewing using Firefox (and Chrome), but this seems to be an obscure bug, with an acceptable workaround.

There were some issues on channels that have multiple audio streams when the plex.tv account settings does not have auto select audio

Could you check your plex.tv account settings

When you say channel not visible - are you referring to when attempting to tune the channel? I would expect the channel to be visible in the guide grid

If the problem is arising when you have automatic selection of audio tracks on your account, then please provide logs of the problem and screenshots and indication of time the test was done

Setting to “Automatically select audio and subtitle tracks” has resolved this problem, thank you!
