Match Fix is not working

Plex Media Server Logs_2021-12-20_06-52-38.zip (2.0 MB)

I am running Plex on a TrueNas server. When I try to fix the match for shows, it is completely blank. I tried re-arranging the agents and checked the folder structure to make sure it matches the requirement on Naming and Organizing Your TV Show Files | Plex Support, but Plex will not load the metadata for most of the items in my library. Anyone encounter something like this?

From your logs it looks like there’s some network issue preventing the Plex Media Server to speak with the agent backend (Connection refused).

As for ordering the agents… those server settings only work for legacy agents. The current-generation Plex agents are configured per library in the library’s Advanced tab.

I have also just noticed that I am unable to select TMDB from the drop down box with Plex when trying to fix a match. The only search option agent available is Plex Movie which is just showing random movies. Is there a fix for getting the search function back to how it use to be when it was one or two clicks and sorted ?

You’re referring to the old concept of Plex looking for matches at a dedicated source. The new agents are no longer using that model. While you can e.g. enter the movie‘s IMDb ID as the search term (or the TMDb ID with a respective tmdb- prefix), this only helps identifying the movie. Plex is sourcing their metadata from a variety of sources.
