Fix Match not working

There is something odd going on that I can’t reproduce. You keep mentioning that you upgrade to the newest versions. Have you tried manually deleting and reinstalling PMS. This won’t affect your libraries.

No. I just install each update as it becomes available.

Do you mean it won’t affect my media files but maybe affect settings / watched status / etc, or do you mean it won’t affect any of my settings / metadata?

My “Plex Media Server” folder (not including the media) is 19.2GB

No, do not get rid of the app data folder. That’s where your settings are all kept.

I mean uninstall the program and reinstalling by running the downloaded exe of the latest version. I think there might be something wrong with one of the program files that maybe couldn’t get updated. A clean install of the program might help.

Happening here too. Plex says I have the latest server but when I try to match something simple like Star Trek, I don’t even get any matches. Fix Match sometimes works. Match rarely does. Running 4.12.3 on Windows Server.

I’m not comfortable with the idea of uninstalling the app because every time I do, it breaks my matches and creates new Collections for all my damned movies even though I have spent hours cleaning them up since the last time.
