Fix-match & Tvdb

Is there a known issue with Plex fix-matching and the tvdb? Last weekend my server crashed and corrupted some of the config files. I uninstalled plex & deleted the plexmediaserver data directory and did a clean reinstall. After claiming the server in my account and several days of plex scanning my media, I started cleaning up some of the mis-matches.

I found some of my shows had no metadata after the scanning. No episode titles, episodes descriptions, air date, etc I tried fix matching them, still nothing. then I tried doing a fix-match to the tvdb metadata using tvdb-show id # in the search box. Didn’t work. I even embedding (tvdb-show id#) in the directory name for that show. Still didn’t work

These are the shows I’m having troubles with so far.

Passion Italy TvDb #427269 TMDB # n/a
Dream of Italy TvDb #357840 TMDB # n/a
Woodsmith Shop TvDB #143421 TMDB #67732 but missing season 17 which is the latest
Curious Traveller TvDb #300602 TMDB # n/a

The show I renamed is Curious Traveller. It now looks like:
Curious Traveler (2015) (tvdb-300602)

I’ve attached the logs. I last did a fix-match on Curious Traveller around 9:30pm

Use {} not ()

Well, I renamed the directory using curly brackets instead of parenthesis but still no joy.

Did you do the full plex dance?

Ah, I did not. I’ll give it a try

Did the plex dace and still no joy

Did you choose TVBD order for the library or the particular shows if TVDB is what you are naming your files by?

Either set the library to use TVDB order by default Or set particular shows that way

Aha! That did the trick! Thank you.
