Ok i’ve tried really hard to wade through this thread here:
but cannot glean any useful information. So far all it is is a bunch of greek that is way over my head and is giving me a major headache… lol
So I tried installing git, and XAMMP and followed the basic instructions. and after many atemos i think i got XAMMP to work.
When i use my public address without the Phlex in the direction, what i get is a file browsing structure with the folder Phlex. When i use the full address, it doesn’t connect to anything, it just hangs.
So i tried using the server mentioned that’s already set up. It goes to the login page fine, but as soon as my password is entered. it hangs just like the other server.
I think i have forwarded the ports correctly… and when i check the plex settings it says the remote connection is enabled.
I looked in the plugin folder and it recognized my google home mini, so i don’t think it’s that…
guess i’ll just have to go buy an Amazon unit… at least i’ll be able to tie it to my music account as well… sigh
