I have my movies ,eticulously ordered so would love to be able to select them via folders (e.g. I have all superhero movies in one folder, disney films in another). Would be great to be able to view my library by folder so I can get to the type of film I want easily.
Hi SirClive. We won't be supporting browsing your videos by folders. Yet you can do a similar setup in Plex. Make a new Library for each folder. Then as you add stuff into the folders it shows up in the right library.
In the future we'll also support filtering your videos by tags or collections.
For clarification... "We wont...." - is that we don't or will NEVER offer this?
Yes I would like clarification on this. If it is 'will not' then is there a technical reason why? It seems like a major disadvantage for users to have to use the long winded workaround suggested.

Do you have a screenshot handy? I'd like to make sure I understand what you're referring to.

Any response to this? I use folder view on both Mac and iPad. Would be really useful to have this on Playstation. I would also love to be able to set a poster for each folder.
