When I try to connect to your “Public” IP on port 32400 I get connection refused:

Have you setup port forwarding?
Who is the vendor of your router?
Did anything change with your internet provider?
Once port forwarding is setup, verify on canyouseeme.org and make sure it shows Success and try to reconnect.
Also usually I don’t post public IP on forums just in case…
I’m not sure how to setup port forwarding. The vendor of my router is ASUS and my internet provider is Comcast. As far as I know, Comcast has not changed anything.
192.168.1.x is your Plex Server IP and click add.
After go to canyouseeme.org and have it test port 32400 and make sure it shows success.
If all goes well disable remote access in plex, check the port 32400 box in plex, restart plex and try to reconnect it again.
This is what I entered in the fields. However, i wasnt sure as to what Local IP address to enter so i entered 192.168.1.34 as indicated in the Plex 's setup.

Under the “Basic” config remove 32400 as your FTP Server Port.

okay, i removed the 32400 from the FTP Server Port but it’s forcing me to enter a value.

So yeah for FTP you can enter 20:21 as the default.
Can you try to disable your firewall?
If not we need to look into your “Network Services Filter” tab and maybe add a Plex service…

And If “FTP Server Port” doesnt let you use “20:21” try just “20” ( I saw 20:21 as a default somewhere else and FTP is unrelated and should have no impact but it shouldn’t be 32400)

Was this ever solved? I reset my router recently now I cannot get my port forward of 32400 to work.
