Hello,
I have tried just about everything I can get subtitles working on a foreign movie. I have followed both of these support articles:

Under “Settings -> Server -> Languages -> Subtitle mode” has been set to “Shown with foreign audio” and I have the SRT file named “MOVIETITLE (2016).en.forced.srt”. When looking at the movie page, I can see the drop down for subtitles says “English - SRT External”.
Move to the “Agents”, I have moved “Local Medial Assets” to the top of all three subsections of Movies - Personal Media, Plex Movie, The Movie Database.
If I open the srt file, it shows that English subtitles should start at 5:17, just as it aligns with the movie speaking in French. The English speaking parts work as intended, showing the subtitles in English.
What am I doing wrong?
And if I do not have “Local Media Assets” for other movies, will Plex still try to get outside sourced subtitles even though “Local Media Assets” is the top agent?
