I have words of Wisdom, I use Digiguide in the UK for my TV listings - if there is any provider in the UK capable of delivering a good system, that’s the one I would recommend.
Example: Taskmaster tonight on Dave via the wonderful new EPG provider:
Greg Davies and Alex Horne set a group of celebrities a series of tasks.
Digiguide:
This Is Trevor. Series 8, episode 7.
Joe Thomas grapples grumpily with some awkward hand-wear, Sian Gibson seems to find proof that she may be psychic and Iain Stirling shows some tasty shortbread who’s boss.
(Widescreen, Subtitles)
Starring: Greg Davies, Alex Horne, Joe Thomas, Sian Gibson, Iain Stirling

Massive difference in quality, another example - here is Family Guy on ITV2 tonight:
Animated antics of the constantly grousing Griffins, a family that put some fun in dysfunctional. While dad Peter is a tad dim and lazy, mom Lois is none of the above. Then there are hapless teens Meg and Chris; sassy baby Stewie, who’s wise (and a wise guy) beyond his years; and family dog Brian, who might be the smartest of the lot. Series creator Seth MacFarlane voices many of the regular characters. In 2002, Fox dumped the show, but revived it in 2005 after it became a top-selling DVD.
versus Digiguide:
Thanksgiving. Series 10, episode 6.
Lois prepares a Thanksgiving meal for friends and family, and Joe is shocked when his son Kevin Swanson, a soldier who was missing in action, returns from Iraq. Animation following the misadventures of the Griffin family, with the voice of Seth MacFarlane.
(Audio Described, Subtitles, 1999, 4 Star)
Starring: Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, Patrick Warburton
Marked By: 'Seth Macfarlane' and 'Favourite: Family Guy' markers

Even the Freeview OTA EPG:
Thanksgiving: Animated US comedy. Lois cooks a big Thanksgiving meal and invites the whole crew over for dinner. Joe is shocked when his formerly MIA son Kevin returns from Iraq. [S,AD] S10 Ep6
Note no part of the EPG provider actually describes what will happen in the episode, it’s just a generic description of the show itself, NOT the episode. This really is not good enough.
Is this is for the level of detail we can expect from the provider, or is that expected to become more detailed? @sa2000
