Hi, I have a friend in another state that I share my library with. Everything was working fine and then one day it wasn’t. He says he can’t see anything in my library. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it. He updated his app (he uses Xbox primarily), I updated the server, I added him as a friend and told Plex he can view my library, I set connections to prefer insecure connections instead of require, I even uninstalled and reinstalled my server just in case. I don’t really understand why it was working for so long and now it isn’t. The weird thing is he can connect to my server but he says he can’t see My Library (Movies, TV). Does anyone know anything else I can do to fix this?
Not my intention to be pushy or impatient but with no reply in 4 days I’m beginning to wonder if I posted in the wrong place or did something wrong. If anyone knows if there is additional information I need or could provide to help figure out the problem please let me know, thanks!
how does he know he is connected to server if there are no libraries to indicate that. Looking at the only account you seem to have given access to, assuming it is his, I don’t see his account signed into the xbox app at all.
Can he access it fine in a web browser or other Plex app?
Well I have absolutely no idea what changed between the time I posted this thread and now but he says it’s working again. If you did anything to fix that thank you and if not, thank you for your time anyway.
