Friends still seeing old server I deleted

I migrated to a new server and deleted the old one, but my friends are still seeing the old one and it tells them no libraries are available because of this, so they don’t know to pin my new libraries. How do I get rid of the old server from showing on friends’ plex apps?

Have them sign out on all of their devices and then sign back in.

That doesn’t seem to resolve issue.

Do they have the shares Pinned?

If so, Unpin them

Next, go to the server entry and expand it.
Now they can pin the same names under the new server instance.

So with the new Plex app update that released on some devices like Roku and TVs, the old server shows as the default under Libraries, but if you click the 3 dots you can pin the new server, which then allows the new server libraries to show on the Home page, but if you go back to the Libraries page/tab, it still shows the old server alongside the new server. But since the old server is still defaulting, the Libraries page still says no data is available unless the user moves over to the new server.

If they can’t get it to clear (not easy on some devices), go for option 2 – Reinstall app.

When uninstalled, all the existing data (server info) is erased)
Reinstall & sign-in will get the server info you shared with them.

This hasn’t worked for me. Same issue, it keeps defaulting to showing my old server as favourite libraries. If I change this in the app and delete the old libraries and re favourite new ones. When I close and open the app it reverts back to old favourites again

What I’ve found is that with some devices, if you uninstall and re-install the Plex app, it has no effect on the data that the device is saving for your account. I know that to be true on an android tablet that I have. Uninstall and re-install has no effect. What I think that you’ll have to do is sign-out of Plex on the device that is having the issue. Tap on user icon → Settings → Account → Sign Out (confirm or continue). In a browser, go to the Plex Web Client. Go to Settings (wrench icon) → Authorized Devices. On any instance of the device that you’ve signed out, delete the device from the list. There will probably be more than one instance. Now, go back to the Plex app on the device and sign in.
