My SSD died so I had to install Plex onto a new drive. Its set up and running just fine, but most of my users are complaining they can’t see the new server, as it is still defaulting to the old dead one. Explaining to everyone they need to unpin the old one and pin the new one to their side bars on their smart TV apps / iOS / Consoles is a lot of work! There has to be a better way. I have removed the old Server from Authorized Devices, any ideas appreciated!!
instead of re-pinning individual libraries they could reset their client customizations – that should bring back the initial setup where they can pick their preferred libraries in 1 go.
Ok cool that could work, I was hoping there might be a way to properly kill the old server from my end, some of my users are not too savvy with navigating menus etc
