Full screen green playback on original quality

Playing back a video in original quality shows nothing but full screen green. Audio playback is not affected. Selecting to convert to ANY of the 1080 profiles still results to green screen. Selecting the 720p HD profile results in a clear image of the content. Going off from this I have to assume that the video is fine, as at least in one way, the plex server can see the proper video images since it’s able to produce them in teh 720pHD profile.

From the version, I presume you are using a browser. Your symptoms likely mean that your hardware decoder cannot decode the original file but is able to decode a transcoded version. Although your paste of the file info doesn’t indicate anything difficult for hardware to decode unless the hardware is very old.

Perhaps you should try disabling hardware decoding in the web player to see if that makes a difference.

Sorry, I forgot that the web client doesn’t have that setting. It’s using the playback engine in your browser so this would be a browser level setting.
