“Fully Accessible outside your network” changes to “Not Available outside network”

Server Version#: 1.15.4.994
Player Version#:

This was working great until today. I’ve got port forwarding on. I’ve tried running a repair on plex and have restarted my plex server and router but still same issue.

Unable to get it to work remotely.

Check your port on canyouseeme.org for success

Nope, canyouseeme.org can’t see the port, connection times out. But when I check another port on the same network that I’ve also port forwarded, it sees that port fine.

Well something is wrong with your config or something is blocking it.

Can you browse to 192.168.x.x:32400 assuming your PC is 192.168.x.x and you use the default port 32400? From inside

Or even 127.0.0.1:32400 locally

I can access locally (127.0.0.1:32400) on the same computer that the server is installed on but unable to access plex on another computer on the same network. Unsure as to why this is now happening as plex has been working fine until today. I haven’t made any changes on the server/computer or on my router.

I also have airvideo installed on the same computer as a backup and that’s working fine on another port when I test it remotely.

I’ve fixed it. It appears that my firewall settings had changed on the server for some reason to blocking plex instances. Once I enabled them it’s now working fine locally and remotely.

Thanks for your assistance in trying to help me get to the bottom of it all, it’s much appreciated :+1:
