FYI... tvdb ids changing for shows & episodes

FYI… I’ve noticed in the past few days two shows which have changed …

Blood of Zeus - changed from tvdb://361140 to tvdb://473467
A Teacher - changed from tvdb://352440 to tvdb://473725

Interestingly if you search for either show …

https://www.thetvdb.com/search?query=Blood%20of%20Zeus&menu%5Byear%5D=2020
https://www.thetvdb.com/search?query=a%20teacher&menu%5Btype%5D=series&menu%5Byear%5D=2020

… both are listed but the orginal id now goes to a 404 page.

I requested Blood of Zeus to be fixed at tmdb TVDB changed the id for Blood of Zeus from tvdb://361140 to tvdb://473467 - Discuss Blood of Zeus — The Movie Database (TMDB) however when I spotted A Teacher I wondered if there is something large afoot. There may also be other shows, this is what I have spotted so far!

If someone who is familiar with tvdb has a way to ask their moderators whats happen then please do (I’m not familiar with them as I spend my time on tmdb).

FYI… I’m not sure what is happening at tvdb but I’d imagine anyone using tvdb episode ordering is going to start to see problems as things appear to be getting very messy and somewhat out of control.

All of these shows now have duplicate entries …

In addition other users of tvdb have started to report problems and this post on reddit seems to say stuff is going on behind the scenes.
