Today I started getting an error stating “An error occurred while attempting to play this video check the connection and try again” when I try to play video on my client (FireTV). Video plays fine on the server side. This was never an issue before today. A log of 1 such instance is attached.
Server is on Windows 10. Client is on FireTV.

I don’t think so.
I deleted the Plex client from my FireTV and re-installed and all is working fine now. Don’t know exactly what the issue was but this is resolved for me.
This worked for me, thanks! I tried all the other steps (removing and adding library, pre-transcoding, etc.) and none of it worked.
