Hi There,
I am able to connect to me server from fire-tv no problem and see all my videos, but I cannot play anything back
‘An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again’
The connection is fine and I am able to playback via iphone, ipad and chrome on Win10.
I have tried deleting the client completely and reinstalling.
I’m not sure which logs would be best to share for debugging.

Same here. I noticed the app got updated on June 30. Maybe a bug got introduced. Ugh.
Same, it works fine on plex mobile app and playing my media on my laptop but amazon fire tv / stick I get the same error.
Appears an update for plex server was just pushed. When you log into plex it will notify you in the activity/dashboard section to manually install. Did that and now it works again on Fire TV

I’m using plex on a “Chromecast for Google TV”. Starting last week, every time I stop playing and go back (back to the episode selection screen) I get a bottom “pop-up” message of “unable to navigate item not found plex” that stays ~7 seconds.
