Getting Huge Stutter on MKVs on my Xbox One S :(

Hey There,

Please help me, I have a wired network connection from my PC to my Xbox One S but it still stutters, It seems to happen more on 1080p MKVs but 720p MKVs stutter a bit also. The PC is an overclicked i7 4790k with GTX 1080 so no shortage of computing power there. I had a WDTV before and it could stream 1080p MKVs no problem but I bought the Xbox One S for Plex and now I have inferior playback :frowning:

If anyone could help me fix this problem I would be grateful :slight_smile:

Hi there. Could you post the details of the content you’re trying to play and also some server logs of the playback attempt?

Okay, this is super weird - I updated Plex 3-4 weeks ago and still got the huge stutter and then I just updated to the 1.3.4.3285-b46e0ea version and now the stutter is gone. Its strange that something so fundamental got fixed in the latest version when lots of people have been playing their 1080p MKVs just fine for the 2/3 years that Plex has been available on Xbox.
