Grant access link results in empty Home

I have setup a new instance of Plex on my Synology (I’ve been a lifetime member for over 10 years). As part of that process I am attempting to grant library access to the other users (wife, son, etc) using the Manage Library Access screen. None of them are listed as “friends with access”, so I type in their name in the Grant Library Access dialog and they come up, I select them, check the boxes for the libraries I want them to have access to. On the last screen, I copy the acceptance link, since they won’t see that, and paste it into a new tab to accept the libraries. What I end up seeing is a blank Home screen, and when I click More on the left there are no libraries listed, just “Plex”. My server isn’t listed either. So I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, or why granting access to libraries requires acceptance. It used to be, as administrator, I could just set who gets access to which libraries. I guess they’ve changed that since I last set that up… Thanks for any help you can provide!

Are you still signed into the web app as yourself when attempting to accept the share on their behalf?

I am signed in as myself, yes, but it prompts me to select the user and I select the user I am attempting to accept for. Maybe I should copy the link and use it in another browser to avoid the cached logged in user?

worth a try.
I haven’t seen any widespread issues with sharing/accepting shares recently, so I guess this could be linked to the “user hopping”

I figured it out. I should have been managing the libraries in Plex Home in the settings, not Manage Library Access. From Plex Home I was able to designate the libraries accessible to each named user, and that is now working. Thanks!
