"Grant Library Access" results in 400 error

Hey all, I’m trying to share access to my library with some plex home users I’ve already invited. However, when I do this with any of them I get a 400 status code:

I have tried to pull up logs in the console related to this but unfortunately I don’t see any that are related to this issue. Below are the only errors I see around the time I’m trying this:

This occurs with all possible options that I select with the “Grant Library Access” dialogue so at this point I’m not sure how I can even grant them access to my library which is the main reason I use PlexServer.

So they already are in your Home, Friends or Access list? Or are you waiting on them to accept the invite?

Hey there, I think my issue was that I was attempting to re-invite the same people (or re-grant the same access) through that panel. I created a new test user and when I walked through the process it went through just fine.

Some of those users reported not being able to access the library but that might be due to some confusion on their part.

Another strange thing is that, no matter how many friends I grant access to, the list of friends with access always shows up as empty:

Pretty odd, eh? I will check with the users who reported problems and, if they can access the libraries with some assistance I’ll mark this as solved (although I may want to submit a bug report on the empty list unless I’m missing something there).

There is a new version of the hosted web app which might bring a fix for this: Plex Web - #398 by bengeorge

(you might need to force a refresh of the “web site” in your browser)
