Stop Plex and delete any files that start with tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud* from the database directory. Start Plex and refresh the guide.
There is delete tuner and delete DVR with deleting the DVR doing a more complete cleanup of the database, which one did you do. Deleting the DVR does not remove scheduled recordings.
If it still doesn’t work you will need to upload debug logs.
Plex server is on QNAP NAS via Application. Can you tell my how I can get to this directory ?
I performed a delete DVR. I dont see a option for delete tuner.
Thank you
Brian
QNAP
The exact data directory location can vary from system to system. To access it, connect to the Console of QNAP via SSH and then enter:
getcfg -f /etc/config/qpkg.conf PlexMediaServer Install_path
From the result given to you, then add /Library/Plex Media Server to the end of it. You might end up with a path like the following (this is just an example!):
/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex media Server

Hello ,
I downloaded Putty so that I can access SSH Telenet. below is my results:
[~] # getcfg -f /etc/config/qpkg.conf PlexMediaServer Install_path
/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer
[~] # /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server
-sh: /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex: No such file or directory
Do you have Plex for Windows? Easier to grab screenshots and trouble shoot the guide, could also use https://app.plex.tv/web .
Once you telnet into your QNAP you need to cd to the directory, the quotes are for the spaces in directory name.
cd "/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server"
Database is under
cd "/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases"
I do have Plex for Windows installed on my PC , but my plex server is on QNAP. If there is easier way to delete through windows app that would be great. Please share info
I am a little unfamiliar with telenet commands unless they are similar to the old dos commands. what are the delete commands to use after changing directories.
[~] # cd"/share/CASHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server"
-sh: cd/share/CASHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server: No such file or directory
[~] # cd “/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA./qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases”
-sh: cd: /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA./qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases: No such file or directory

Ok lets get some of the info from Plex for Windows.
In Plex for Windows, click on the wrench and at the bottom of the left column, click on troubleshooting and then “DOWNLOAD LOGS”. Take the file and drag and drop in a reply here so that I can pull the location out.
While you have Plex for Windows running, do you have a guide there? On that page you can initiate a Guide Refresh.
Do it this way:
cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/“Plex Media Server”/“Plug-in Support”/Databases
You must quote around directories with spaces or use escape sequence such as:
cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex\ Media\ Server/Plug-in\ Support/Databases
Looks like 2nd one worked. Can you tell me command to delete the files you want me too. Im sorry for my inexperience in this area. I also attached log files.
[~] # cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/“Plex Media Server”/“Plug-in Support”/Databases
-sh: cd: /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/“Plex: No such file or directory
[~] #
[~] # cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex\ Media\ Server/Plug-in\ Support/Databases
[/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases] #
No need to delete the file, no corruption found. The location is:
'/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases/'
No Roku was detected connecting so I would switch focus to there. Restart the Roku and if that doesn’t fix then uninstall/reinstall the Plex app.
Did you refresh your guide data? If not you should and then wait until it is completely synced then load your clients only after it’s finished to see if the guide populates.
I did complete refresh of guide data successfully. I deleted all windows devices from plex and re-added the one im working on. To keep things simple I used my windows 10 PC to login via web . Guide data shows greyed out and When I select it just spins. I can access live channel if I select it from whats on but not through guide.
I also did a search for live tv programs “pawn stars” and it shows them and will allow me to record them but still not showing in the info in program guide view and when I try to tune live channel is just spins.
@sa2000 Do you have an idea why this could be happening?
When I use the app in windows 10 PC guide and live tv work ok. If I use the same PC and log in via web doesnt show info in guide and when selecting to watch channel spins. I get same result with apple tv and Shield TV.
The only thing I can think of is that you upgraded from an old version to the current and that is when they combined the Plex Live with Live TV & DVR.
In the web app, when you select Live TV does the top look like this:
Click on the two sources and only select your sever as the source.

The Apple playback requires you to change a couple of settings to work. I’ll go find those and make another post.
Plex has a workaround for the Apple playback issue.
In the meantime we believe you may be able to work around this issue by changing both settings Auto Adjust Quality and Use Old Video Player to “Off”.
