Several people have told me I can change the guide update interval with a setting in LiveTV ->DVR Settings → Guide Refresh Interval. However in my server I only see a checkbox to enable/disable updates once a day at 2 AM. I’m on the latest version of Plex and I have a Plex Lifetime pass. Whe isn’t this setting showing?

Guide/Lineup name:
Using XMLTV?: No
Channel number/Name: All
Other than manually refreshing the guide, it runs once every 24 hours during your scheduled tasks.
You can only change the guide refresh interval when using XMLTV.
That’s a feature I, too, would like to have. I have asked a similar question here: Refresh guide more often/at another time
and ended up with creating an automated task refreshing the guide three times a day.
