So this afternoon i received a notification of a new login from the china region, followed by a email change.
Unfortunately i seem to have noticed these emails about two hours after they dropped into my inbox, so i logged in with my plex email address (rather than username) and reset my password. i seemed to be locked out of my plex server as well, which was weird.
anyway, password reset, plex instance blown away (ill just start that again, jeez) - but i noticed my username had been cleared out and i was now being prompted to “go premium”… even though i purchased a lifetime pass probably about 5 years ago.
Have i had my pass stolen from me via switching out my email address, dropping my username and then me password resetting!?
ive attached the first email, with my username blanked out of course… and the second, with the now chinese email and the changed email address
