I have to give a major shout out to @ChuckPa for the INCREDIBLY helpful post

I totally botched my upgrade of Plex on DSM 7.2 after not following any instructions before I upgraded DSM from 6.2 to 7.2RC

Worked flawlessly and looks like my Libraries are all back to normal.

ONE thing that may trip up someone new is that you must select Normal Install and not be tempted to select from token. I did that it had to start all over again.
