I’m noticing that even after I rename a file it will still pull in the metadata file title/description. Is there a way to tell plex to only use the file NAME instead?
Go to Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheMovieDatabase

Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase
After mismatches, no matter if they were caused by bad meta data or bad filenames,
you might need to perform the Plex Dance
