Lately I notice that Plex will use the name of the file I’m adding, not the title it finds when matching through the DB. No idea when this started. For movies it’s no big deal, but for episodes to series it’s a pain a certain place to rename everything. Are there any settings I have forgotten to set?

In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.

Afterwards, Refresh Metadata for the whole series.
Suddenly started working. Not sure if there was an update that fixed it, or if the fiddling I did was the thing.
I emptied trash, refreshed all metadata, and analyzed .
