I have my HD Homerun Prime working on my network without issue using the HD Homerun app. Trying to set it up in Plex>Settings>Server>DVR (beta).
It spins looking for devices. I enter the IP in the manual box and get an error…
“There was a problem adding the device: 192.168.50.91”
I can browse to the tuner from the same ip/browser/machine.
Am I missing something?
Make sure your tuner is updated to the latest firmware and on the same subnet as your Plex Media Server.
******Disregard this for the moment. ****
******I am a new user. First prompt is to set up Cloud. ****
******I see that LiveTV is not compatible with Cloud ****
******I’ll fix that tonight and retest ****
Thanks for the reply:
EDIT: Also disabled Windows Firewall
The tuner is at the latest version (20170612Beta3)
Not sure about the Plex version tho. Control Panel says 1.7.3.3937 while the Settings>Server says Version 1.5.2.243
I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled and the versions remain the same.
I can watch TV with the HD HomeRun app on the PMS PC.
The Plex Media Server is installed on a Windows 10 PC on the same subnet (192.168.50.XX).
~~ When the server runs locally, it show the loop back IP of 127.0.0.1 in the URL (is that the issue?)
If I launch the app from the Plex site, it shows https://app.plex.tv/web/app#!/settings/server~~
EDIT2: Changing the IP from loopback to 192.168.50.49 allows me to log in, but still fails to find my tuner.

The issue was in fact that I had selected Cloud. After removing the link and deleted registry keys I was able to find the tuner.
Now the wait for Live TV to be available on my devices. Guess it’s back to the HDHomeun app for now. Hopefully there will be an intuitive live guide, the pictures don’t cut it.
