10gb sfp+ to the lan network and about 50mbps upload speed.
A HDhomerun prime with a new Comcast cable card.
I have been using this set up for about two years with no tuning or connection issues at all.
Suddenly, I have noticed that a good portion of my HD channels will not tune,
In the plex terminal log I keep seeing an error about transcodeuniversialrequest unable to get container.
This has to be an issue with the plex server as I even tried installing my spare hdhomerun prime and get the same error.
UPDATE
I did some more testing, It for sure is a plex issue.
I manually grabbed the hdhomerunprime stream url and plugged it into vlc and the channel tunes and plays perfectly.
When trying to play the channel from plex it errors out. watching the hdhomerunprime tuner status I do not even see plex start/attempt a tune.
Maybe something in a plex update is missing for correct hdhomerun api calls or whatever. idk.
I also tried disabling windows firewall as well to see if something is getting blocked
What should I do here? Go to an older version of plex?
I will gladly get any additional information, thank you for your help in advance.
