Not sure I understand. There it is confirmed that the matching is indeed hash based, only that the information in the cloud might be outdated. Or did I miss something?
Ergo the mismatch in credit markers.
Btw this is still going on:
ERROR - [CreditsDetectionManager] BufferingLineReader: failed to read line (error: -1)
Hi @drzoidberg33 noticed some fixes with credit detection in the latest PMS update, for those of us who had incorrect markers on media how do we enable a re-run of the detection. Haven’t come across a satisfactory response apart from nuking the library and starting again via plex dance etc.
The more time goes on the worse the player minimising feels to me. In particualr the UX of the player minimizing really doesn’t work well with anime.
I really hope that there will be an update to android TV client to give the option to just show a skip button instead of minimizing.
I have more than a few movies that “minimize”, but also kind of stay full screen. Might be because the android player on the Shield can get hideously unstable after running for a week, but when this happens it is horrible.
The post-play screen for movies appears, but the movie stays mostly full screen (there is a bar or UI visible in the top and bottom). Pressing the arrows on my remote is obviously scrolling the UI in the background, but I cannot seem to ever select anything except “Play again” by blindly clicking around. I wanted to see the credits, but nothing will return me to the credits.
I would LOVE the ability to force Plex to delete credit markers so I can re-run them. Nuking the files via Plex Dance is not an acceptable option. I do not like to have the show re-appear in “Recently Added” due to this action, which is what happens.
