Help... After the Fuc&ed up password change!

After the fuc&ed up password change my server took a dump. Tried several times to “reclaim” my server. No luck

So I deleted my server with the intention of recreating it. Whenever I install a “new” server instance the web access will not let me create my library (s). It’s telling me I need the server software. I’ve deleted all trace’s of Plex on my UNRAID and still the same results.

I believe the problem is I had my settings sync with Plex. I can’t find anywhere to delete those stored settings. I’m not even sure that is the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same as for reclaiming… in order to initially claim / setup your server you need to access it “locally” – that means through its local IP address and from within the same subnet.

Yep I know. Believe or not I’m camping using my VPN to try and do this all on my cell phone. I must be a gluten for punishment

Tom80H was correct. Even using my personal VPN server doesn’t work. I needed to be on my home network.

Note to self, do not change PLEX password unless you’re on your home network.

you could have SSH-tunneled into your home network or accessed it via some remote shell… there is ways to do it :wink:
