Thanks 4 any help I can get as I’m new to all this ,can u even get a sever to down load and work on a 5 generation fire tablet 7 ? If so when it asks what platform u have to down load the sever witch 1 do u go 4 ? Thanks if any 1 can help
The server only runs on a PC class device or a bigger NAS device.
The Firetablets (which I am unfortunately not familiar with) may be able to run only a Plex client software.

Thank u ,I’m really new at all this stuff lol I’ve got a Plex account and I’ve put it on my now TV but can’t get a sever to work on this tablet and at the moment Anit got a PC ,I’m trying to doit for my little girl to watch all her stuff on now TV through Plex, ,thanks
A tablet running Android is not able to be run as a PMS.
What exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to make it so the videos on the kindle tablet can be watched on a different device? If this is the case this is not possible via Plex and even if it was the drm that Amazon uses to protect their files cannot be decoded by a Plex client.

Thank u for getting back to us I’m gate full ,as u can tell I’m not that good with all this ,what I was trying to do is get Plex through my little girls now TV and in the front room ,Ive side loaded the now TV box with Plex but but didn’t no that a sever wouldnt work on a fire tab ,I wanted to put loads of movies and bits to the now TV box through Plex ,I’ve only bin trying for 2 days now lol looks like I will have to get a laptop or PC then lol or less there’s any others ways around IT ,thank u for us time m8
