I’ve read up on most of the documentation regarding Preparing Media. Right now, my 700 movies are correctly displayed… but movies are easy.
My « TV Shows » library is also properly displayed, by show the by season, although none of the « extrs » are. I used the required setup - put all the extras in a « Specials » folder and each episode is numbered s00e01 thru whatever- yet I don’t see any. But so far so good.
What my problem is, is that I have all the metadata in every show embedded into the tags of each media file. I don’t mind using Plex’s agent to display a new tag, as long as I keep the original embedded tag unmodified. But this second library is filled with Cartoons.
None of the cartoons’ meta is displayed at all. In my TV Shows the agent used is « TheTVDB ». In my Cartoons, the agent used is « Personal Media Shows ». In Settings, both Agents are setup with Local Media Assets enabled and at the top.
How do my Cartoons find a way to not show up? What’s worse, how come certain cartoons dont even show up?
(Example: I have 2 shows, Hulk vs. Wolverine and Hulk vs. Thor. These are normally movies and exist in a movieDB, but I’ve categorized the internal tag as a TV Show. They both sit in a tv show folder. In Plex, they simply don’t show up. Why??)
Lastly: I’ve found the way to categorize all my Looney Toons and that works great. But I have a folder with every single Disney movie released since 1938 (about 135 movies). I want them all in one folder. How do I do this?
