I am using an updated version of plex media server on Linux (Debian). After some update my Live TV and DVR stopped working, it always gave me an error and pointed me to the forums.
After 4 weeks without finding a fix, I’ve decided to delete plex from the server and install again. Everything is working and now I can setup a new DVR. It finds the xTeve without any problems, but I cannot go pass the postal code and country selection (please check screenshot).
Before on the same server everything worked well, any ideas on how to fix this?
I cannot find this problem in anywhere else and Plex apparently doesn’t offer support, just on forums. Is there a way to report bug, or communicate with the plex team?
Hi BigWheel, thanks for your reply, but I am sure that there is no space before or after the zip code number, here follows a print screen with the number highlighted so we can be sure that there isnt any space.
I’ve already tried everything, multiple browzers. I think is an error with this recent update. Anyone can confirm if they managed to configure a new DVR on the latest version of PLEX ?
You can use the Plex EPG with xTeVe provided the channels are mapped correctly. If this is the case then try another zip code in your area and see if that works. With my OTA tuner I don’t use my zip code but another zip code 50 miles away because it suits every channel I can pick up. Otherwise I would have to use multiple locations which doesn’t make sense if another zip code will provide everything.
If you don’t have your channels mapped correctly in xTeVe you’re gonna be doing a lot of manual matching to get the guide displaying correctly for each channel.
Are you sure you are using the current version of web app and server. relalized your screenshot seems to be of an old version. when adding a tuner now it should look like
