Help with figuring out why some episodes don't play

Hello,

I was wondering if I could get some help as to why some of the newest items added to a plex share I have linked don’t play. I get the error “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.”

I get transcoder errors on the newest items but older items play just fine. I am unsure if it is related to an update or not as I didn’t catch it until recently. I’ve uploaded my logs with issue being replicated and my database in case it is needed.

I’ve attempted to increase my notify count but the issue continues and I’ve run out of ideas.

Please let me know what more information I could provide. Thank you all for your time.

FYI: Plex is not running on a docker image.

Update: could not upload the database for some reason. It keeps deleting from post as soon as the file finishes uploading…

OK I see…

I attempted to turn off hardware transcoding but issue remains. Furthermore, I attempted to play directly from the mounted network share and got errors. Maybe the network share has bad files?

OK so I did what you asked.

I downloaded an episode that kept giving me transcode errors on PLEX and it Worked! played flawlessly.

What’s weird is that if I attempt to play straight from the mounted share, I get a “Cannot render file” on Media PLayer Classic Home Cinema…

I guess there is something wrong with my mount?

OK I’ll attempt to remount the mount drive this evening, since this is not a PLEX issue. I will mark this as solved and get help from the RClone community. Thank You so much for your help!
