Help with plex media server

I have done everything i can think of and i keep getting the: Looking for servers message.
I have uninstalled plex media server, searched and deleted all folders relating to plex, restarted my computer and reinstalled everything and yet i am still getting the same error message. can someone please help

good morning. Firewall/antivirus is OFF when checking for the plex server? As in “nothing in the way”. Lemme know, thx.

Maybe a little more information will help. I used to run Plex of my Mac, and I had a different server off my PC I had no issues running things this way. I have done some rearranging and transferred all my files from my Mac to an external HD so i can run Plex off my PC. Everything was working fine off my 2nd plex server (PC) last week, but since i have tried the account that was on my Mac i am having no luck. i double checked my firewall and antivirus and plex is not blocked in either one.

I deleted all the Plex files off my mac, and did the same on my PC, but still no luck.

The plex account into which your web browser is signed in has no Plex server assigned to it.
The most likely scenario is this:
Your server (which is a separate thing) is still using a different plex.tv account. You must bring it over into the account you are using now.
