Hi.
I recently started using plex for kodi largely for things that require subs. I.e. anime. I’m having a bit of an issue with some videos though being extremely stutter whilst being played through kodi plex. There is no transcoding taking place on my server.
I have videos encoded as below play fine
VIDEO : AVC / 1920 x 1080 / 16:9 / 23.976 (24000/1001) FPS / 8 bits / 6288kb/s / High@L4 / Progressive
AUDIO 1 : AAC LC / 2.0ch / 128kb/s
And this does not

Both ASS subs
I’m using kodi 18.3 installed on a 4k firestick with whatever the latest version of Plex is from the kodi repo
Both videos play fine on the Plex app installed direct on the stick, the video/audio is fine. Is there something obvious I’m doing wrong or missing. I’ve been attempting to Google around and I’m going nuts.
I can play on Plex on my firestick with the subtitles set to image only, however this doesn’t work too well with any embedded so miss out on stuff
