Hello, all! I am getting a stuttering on playback of some video files. It doesn’t seem to matter what format (mkv, mp4, etc). It doesn’t affect all videos of any particular type. Fixed by optimizing the video for TV and playing the new version. But I’d like to not have to spend forever optimizing every video. Audio playback is unaffected.
I’ve changed transcoding options numerous times, nothing seems to make any difference. I even set PMS to transcode from RAM. I’ve reinstalled PMS. This only happens on this TV, not any other TV or device. I have tested on a friend’s TV (unsure of the streaming device used, but I believe it is a Roku (if that matters)).
The TV is a dumb TV with an Apple TV 4K and PS4 attached, but both appear to be affected, so it makes me think the TV is the issue.
