PlexPass subscriber here
I have two accounts on our PMS (which runs on a Synology NAS). One for me (admin) and one for my wife (not admin). On her account only, the Home Screen displays the error “Something went wrong… There was an error loading your home screen. Please try again in a few minutes.”
I can get the Home Screen to function by “pinning” any one of the 3 online Plex content categories (live TV, moves & shows, music). I have tried reset customizations and it does not work. The problem is on her account, and is seen on multiple devices (plex web, iOS, TV). Also, when I enable the plex content (like live TV), the Home Screen does not display any content from our PMS, other than the items in the continue watching category. The PMS content is all available by clicking on its category, so her account can definitely access the local server.
The odd thing is - my account does not behave this way. I can have the live plex content unpinned and my Home Screen simply displays content from my PMS. This is what I want for her account also so she doesn’t have to see all the Plex junk. Any ideas?
