Did you try to roll back to your previously installed version?
No, not possible for me, before I got the answer on how to roll back, I did a system restore to an earlier date thinking that would help. It deleted all of my previous builds of PLEX. So I just stuck with this broken PLEX
I know this sounds like a huge pita, nor do I know your technical expertise, but what if you created a virtual machine and setup a test server, using Ubuntu for example. Does everything work properly then?
There’s a lot of things that could be isolated, And you could see more clearly if you have an OS related issue or a more generic networking issue. I live in Saudi Arabia, so I don’t have much of a social life currently so I would welcome a distraction like this. However you may not have the time or desire to do a more comprehensive test line this. Guess it depends on how important it is to you.

I tried running PLEX media server on another computer (a Mac Book) the MAC an PC versions of PLEX are the same version, And I had the same problem
SiscoPlex
Pointed out “This is a confirmed issue with 1.4.x by the developers and they are working on a fix.”
Bummer. Sounds like you got PM’d some links pointing to archived versions of PMS. One of the older platforms should get you up and running until the 1.4 branch is made whole again.
@“Vaughn & Dorothy” Since you have been able to recover your previous installer, are you functional again?
