How can i remote access my server form outside my network

Hi before anything i did follow the instruction on the troubleshooting page and i still get the same result
I try to port forward 32400 and i get a quick success and fail result every time. Sometime it will work and the very same day when i reopen plex it tell me that my server is not accessible from outside which is very frustrating because I’ve been trying to make it work for months now and still not a single clue of what i’m doing wrong. I even got a different router to try and it still gave me the same result. I’m using a belkin N600 and I’m desperate to make it work. So please i’m begging for any sort of help or different tutorial than the one from the troubleshooting page.
Thank you for your time.

@ciscoluminati did you try doing the automatic option? Did that work (note the port number it gives you will not be 32400). You will want to make sure UPnP is turned on on the router (given it’s a Belkin, that’d be in the web setup - usually 192.168.x.1). If the automatic doesn’t work, try manual, assign a nice high port, 15612 or something like that (lower ports are usually blocked by ISPs to stop you running your own servers – unless you pay for their Business-level package). Then go into your router settings and forward 15612 external to 32400 internal at the IP address of your Plex Media Server box (I usually DHCP reserve my servers so that they always get the same IPs)

Also, consider using a dynamic DNS service so you have an easy to remember hostname. Especially if your ISP likes changing your external IP!
