How do I add anything to my Plex server? For instance a golf instructional video from YouTube or an episode of Nova from PBS.org.

On the Plex desktop in the left side column is “Libraries”. Hover the cursor over it and you’ll see “+ …”. Click the + and it will direct you through building your library for different media types. The “…” is a tools menu.

You must first have(own) these files… not just a link to a website.

This looks too complicated for an old man. Guess I’ll just connect my computer to the TV with a HDMI cable and control it with a wireless mouse and keyboard.
