So i have the full box sets of Game of Thrones, each season has its own extras, is there anyway to add them into there respective season folders? if so what is the naming scheme
Nope.
But they can go in Season 00 folders, for instance:

OK… your particular ‘Making of’ wasn’t listed so…

If you can’t find or can’t match your extras with TVDB extras start naming yours a few higher than the last one of theirs and hand edit.

Not that I am aware of.
That would be an Earth Shaking Development to be honest and one not likely to go unnoticed.
sure wish special folders could be associated with seasons, surely everything under a ‘specials’ folder should then ignore any episode and season numbering? Surely it could then just go to the parent folder for season meta and apply it there?
The hack is useless, especially when you have 30 specials per season and 13 seasons (aka for The voice and about 20 other shows I have)… there’s tonnes of specials on youtube for each show now…
not sure why this has taken 5 years and been asked for hundreds of times? #anyValidReason why this is still not implemented?

Just want to share how I manage my special/extra episodes associated with season# with in addition to the work around.
For Example:
Showname/ Season 3 Extra / Extra Episode 1
–> Showname S00E301
Showname/ Season 7 Extra / Extra Episode 6
–> Showname S00E706
If the show have more then 10 seasons, change the above example naming to " Showname S00E0301"
Showname/ Season 11/ Extra Episode 3
–> Showname S00E1106
