How do you turn off Live Captions?

I am using the Windows 11 Plex Media Server and I’ve looked through so many settings and have googled thoroughly and can not find how to turn it off. It’s rather annoying considering the setting isn’t obvious and it shows on every video that has talking.

Also, I posted this on reddit and someone said it’s a Windows feature and that you won’t find it in Plex settings. However, I’m positive it’s coming from Plex because the both the font and color scheme is the exact same as the Plex interface.

Now I have checked the Windows settings, specifically about captions and it’s not turned on. Lastly, it started only after I installed Plex Media Server for the first time.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Are you streaming that from YouTube? What browser are you using?

Plex Media Server has no effect on YouTube streaming.

I am. However it works on Dailymotion, Twitch, etc. Any video-streaming websites it pops up.

I’m using google chrome.

EDIT again: I figured it out. It was a setting in google chrome that I somehow turned on by accident. Thank you for the nudge in the right direction!
