Caption state not correctly reflected in player settings

Server Version#: 1.26.2.5797 (on Ubuntu 20.04)
Player Version#: Linux 1.45.0.3017-e5c724f3 (on Ubuntu 22.04)

When I launch a Live TV (HDHomeRun) stream in the new Linux player, captions are displayed. However, when opening the “Playback Settings” pane, the Subtitles dropdown is set to “None”.

To actually turn off captions, I have to set the Subtitles dropdown to “Unknown (Closed Captions)” and then immediately set it back to “None”.

Basically to turn captions off, I have to “turn it on and off”.

I think perhaps my item 2 on post Playback and caption problems on new Linux Player is the same or similar problem.

I should mention, a similar problem exists on the HTPC player as well.

Is this forum seriously the only way to get tech support? This is a pretty broken system for end users.

Is tech support not officially offered by Plex? I have to post something here and hope someone from Plex notices it within 3 months before it auto-closes?
