I have Plex running on a FreeNAS server. The server works just fine on iPads and computers, but I can’t seem to get it to work on my new Xbox One. It is on the same network (wireless) that my iPads use (and they work) same subnet and all of that.
It just says “no server found”
Do you have you server setup for remote access?
3rd Party apps are not allowed to browse the local network so the app connects to Plex.tv to pull your server’s information to send back to the app.
How do I go about checking that?

That is what did it. Although it wasn’t as simple as that as I had the server plugged into to a wireless router that was plugged into the internet gateway and it wasn’t setup as a bridge.
Anyway working now. Thanks for the clue to send me in the right direction.
