I have a fairly hefty library of wrestling shows - All Elite Wrestling.
I have every episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW Rampage, AEW Dark, AEW Dark Elevation, AEW All Access and now the new show, AEW Collision.
I managed to get Dynamite, Rampage, Dark and All Access to show correctly under one “AEW” library, but Dark Elevation kept getting mixed in with Dark, so I’ve had to create a separate library for Dark Elevation. I don’t mind so much cos they’ve both finished and nobody watches them anyway.
But the problem is with Collision, the new weekly Saturday show. I can create a brand new library and it matches to the correct show no problem. But when I add it to the big AEW library, Plex thinks its S01E01 of Rampage.
I tried to fix this by removing Rampage, matching it to Collision, and then adding Rampage back. Unfortunately Rampage seasons 2 and 3 are correct, but Rampage season one is now stuck as an ‘unknown season’ of Collision. Choosing “split apart” does nothing.
How can I get them all in one library? I don’t want a separate library for Collision only.

Would appreciate any input into getting this set up correctly. Please give me a dummy’s guide to sorting this.
I would expect to see something like E:\Videos\AEW 3 dots next to the library → Manage Library → Edit → Add folders
I’ve never had shows combine like that especially using the TVDB or TMDB ID in the show folder
I don’t name my shows by date so I can’t say if that has anything to do with them combining
My renaming program shows a slightly different naming scheme though
Are you using the TVDB or TMDB show order for these?
If you use the TVDB or are willing to try you can use this renaming program to see if it makes a difference
It’s pretty easy to use, it should only take a few minutes to rename everything
Thanks for this suggestion. I renamed season 1 of Rampage using that tool, then removed the Rampage folder from the library, emptied trash, removed bundles, then re-added the Rampage folder to the library… and it is still the same

After you add things that get matched incorrectly are cause duplicates, they can be sticky. They don’t want to come apart so when you add it back it stays matched incorrectly

I did input the TVDB and TMDB id’s into the search and I get the correct result for that show
