How to add a network location on Nvidia Shield

Good afternoon all,

Hopefully somebody can help a newbie. I have just purchased an Nvidia Shield Pro and I am trying to point PMS at my network drives.

I have drobos on my network which store all of my media, I am trying to point PMS to it but I am having no success.

This is what I am doing: -

Libraries
Add Library
Type = Films
Add Folders - If I click browse it only browses the device, I don’t get the option to browse my network so I paste in the path nice and simple it is W:\A-R
Click add library, no error messages are given and the new library appears however it is empty when I go to the device.

Any suggestions?

This network address is only valid on your Windows computer. The nVidia Shield runs on Android. It has no knowledge of drive letters and even if it had, it cannot ask your Windows computer about which drive letter was assigned to a certain network share.

You need to tell the Shield that there is a network file share which it shall use.
